The unannounced three week summer vacation is over! Sorry for the hiatus!
I've received lots music since the last post, so I'll be sorting through that. I've also come across a ton of great pop songs myself that I'll be posting, not to mention new material from yours truly, which will be coming out soon. Lots to look forward to, so keep checking Video Pop for the latest!
To get back into the groove of things, I'm going to post a bunch of my favorite Guided By Voices songs. GBV made hundreds and hundreds of songs, and Robert Pollard is STILL releasing new material at a breakneck speed (only Venetian Snares begins to come close). That being said, because of the large volume of output, a lot of the songs are just ok.
Still, for roughly every three GBV songs, one is amazing. All of these are good examples. Most are by Robert Pollard, a couple are by Tobin Sprout, and all are short and sweet.
Guided By Voices - How Loft I Am?
Guided By Voices - Crutch Came Slinking
Guided By Voices - Avalanche Aminos
Guided By Voices - Gleemer (The Deeds of Fertile Jim)
Guided By Voices - The Brides Have Hit Glass
Guided By Voices - Peep-Hole
