It's no secret: Australia is a major hotspot for quality pop music right now. The likes of Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts, and Miami Horror (who I'm convinced telepathically stole that name from me!) have made this pretty explicit.
However, there are many other quality acts down under, and Hundreds and Thousands is definitely one of them. With solid melodies and smooth production, their music is definitely a highlight of the 80s synth pop revival. Call it whatever you'd like - retro pop, future disco, nu-disco...any way you label it, it's definitely Video Pop.
Put on your neon Nikes, pop in your Kathy Smith aerobics tape, and pump these tracks!

Jesus Christ, how many Sebastians do we need?
There is Sebastian Teller, SebastiAn, then this, Sebastian Kenzy. And all of them are pretty damn similar.
hmm.
anyways, I'm diggin Earth Girls.
It makes me want to play some random vintage videogame. Like bomberman 93' for the Genesis.
Kind of reminds me of Danger too.
It's Sebastien, with an E.

Thanks for comparing me with Tellier though, appreciate the compliment!
WE LOVE VIDEO GAMES
Sebastien, since you seem to be around: I don't know where you got that bass line, but it's fucking terrific. And I am a connoisseur, believe me.
