No one seems to know anything about Australian producer Ted Sulkowicz. The leading theory is that he's the secret alter ego of laptop producer Pimmon. Whoever he is, in 2001, he crafted a fine loop-pop gem that was released on the Tigerbeat6 compilation, Tigerbeat6 Inc.
The track is called "Kid_newtown," which is ostensibly a reference to The Eagles' "New Kid in Town" off of Hotel California. I don't hear the sample, but I'll post that as well since it's got a great Video Pop moment.
The Sulkowicz is a breezy one, a great way to close out the workweek. Enjoy!
