Tomorrow, Chicago is in for another heavy dose of pop bliss: I'll be playing a show at Ronny's with Party Time 2000.
The show is called Bring Me the Head of Dan Deacon (F You, Baltimore!). Not sure who came up with that, but the unmistakable feeling of irreverence is in the air, so be ready for some intense fun.

Just to bring you up to speed, Party Time 2000 is a remixer/producer and fellow Chicagoan who has been quietly releasing gem after gem of electronic pop bliss. His output has been mainly remixes and covers, but he is starting to put out originals as well, with the same soft, synth-pop vibe.
It was tough to pick which of his songs to post as they're all similar and very catchy, so here's a link to download his entire first release:
Party Time 2000 Remixes Vol. 1.
Here are some tracks from that, as well as a couple of miscellaneous ones he's sent me. I can't stress enough how catchy these songs are - quintessential Video Pop.
Devin the Dude - What a Job (Party Time 2000 All-Nighter Remix)
Lil Wayne - Mrs. Officer (Party Time 2000 Remain Silent Remix)
Peg Roussel - Janvier Revision (Party Time 2000 I Feel U Gurl Remix)
Royb0t - 101808 01a v1.3 (Party Time 2000 AOL 5.0 Remix)
miniHUB - Nocturnal Radio (Party Time 2000 Remix)
Enjoy the music, and come out to the show tomorrow!
